There is an easy confidence about Carlos. Originally from South America and now based in Wellington, he combines Latin warmth with intelligence, curiosity and a naturally expressive personality. An engineer and entrepreneur, Carlos is well travelled and speaks three languages. He's equally comfortable settling into a long conversation over a glass of wine, discovering somewhere new in the city, or finding an excuse for a little Latin music and dancing.

A keen tennis player, Carlos has an athletic lifestyle and enjoys movement, travel and new experiences. But underneath that energy is someone who understands the value of slowing things down.

He notices the subtleties. A glance held slightly longer. A change in someone's body language. The moment nervousness disappears, and conversation becomes effortless. Carlos is comfortable taking the lead when the chemistry invites it, while remaining attentive to the person he's with and allowing an experience to find its own rhythm.

For him, the best encounters contain a little of everything: conversation and silence, sophistication and playfulness, anticipation and spontaneity.
